Double Clamped ...

The traffic wardens of Amsterdam have obviously come across this Polish Minivan before ... They were not taking any chances that they would get away ... I wonder if they have to pay the fine twice ???

Fireworks are dangerous ...

More on the fireworks theme ... a stray one on New Year's Eve was the cause of this damage on the Herengracht !

Now there are cranes that have taken the top of the building away ...

Interestingly there was a sign in the window for a 'feest' or party ... it must have been some party when it went up in smoke !

Amsterdam or Gaza ??

We all know Amsterdam is famous for its raucous New Year's fireworks but after a full 45 mins of continuous explosions all went quiet last night ... that was until I woke up and looked on the street ... am I in central Amsterdam or Gaza ??

Green Wheels certainly looked like they took a direct hit from a rocket !!!
