Unfortunately I only got a back shot of this but it was a Mini-Chopper and the rider was on the M1 ... he has more guts than me ...

Lighters on planes ...

So I am at Zürich Airport browsing round the giftshop and what do the sell ... lighters for your ciggies!

You can't take them past security on your way to the gift shop and you aren't supposed to take them on the plane (although does anyone check anything more than your boarding card?) but you can buy a nice Euro2008 or Swiss Flag one if you want to ...

How dumb is that ?

The traffic wardens of Amsterdam have obviously come across this Polish Minivan before ... They were not taking any chances that they would get away ... I wonder if they have to pay the fine twice ???

Fireworks are dangerous ...

More on the fireworks theme ... a stray one on New Year's Eve was the cause of this damage on the Herengracht !

Now there are cranes that have taken the top of the building away ...

Interestingly there was a sign in the window for a 'feest' or party ... it must have been some party when it went up in smoke !
